Grand Challenges Explorations - India was launched as a BIRAC India initiative in partnership with the Government of India’s Department of Biotechnology and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as funding partners and IKP Knowledge Park as implementation partner. Aligned with the challenges under Grand Challenges Explorations, its goal is new drugs, vaccines, delivery systems, diagnostics, medical devices, and service models that can be made available to people from all socioeconomic strata.
