August 11, 2021 Update: In the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's first-ever U.S. education Grand Challenge, we sought to identify partners to design solutions to make Algebra 1 more accessible, relevant, and collaborative for students who are Black, Latino, English Learners, and/or experiencing poverty. We are proud to announce 11 Phase 2 pilot study grants of up to $1,000,000 each to a diverse and impressive group of organizations. These organizations will pilot their solutions in schools over the next two years.
